Accredited SIRA Psychologist – Support After Injury

If you’ve been injured or experienced trauma at work, or in a motor vehicle accident, you may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or not quite like yourself. You might be dealing with pain, disrupted routines, uncertainty about returning to work, or changes in your confidence and mood.

I am an Accredited SIRA Psychologist registered with the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) in New South Wales, and I provide psychological support specifically for people recovering from workplace and motor vehicle injuries.

I am currently accepting referrals for assessment and treatment under SIRA-approved funding, meaning your sessions may be covered as part of your recovery.

How I Can Help

I work with injured workers or CTP claims of individuals who are experiencing:

• Anxiety, stress, or low mood following an injury

• Difficulty adjusting to physical limitations or ongoing pain

• Loss of confidence in returning to work or daily activities

• Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about the future

• Trauma related to a workplace or motor vehicle incident

A Supportive, Practical Approach

My approach is down-to-earth, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward at your own pace.

Together, we work on:

• Understanding what’s happening for you emotionally and physically

• Building coping strategies to manage stress, pain, and uncertainty

• Regaining confidence in your abilities

• Supporting a gradual and sustainable return to work (when appropriate)

• Creating structure, routine, and a sense of control again

Accessing Support

If you have an active SIRA claim (WorkCover or CTP), you can be referred by your:

• GP or treating doctor

• Rehabilitation provider

• Case manager or insurer

If you’re unsure how to get started, you’re welcome to reach out and I can guide you through the process.

Teletherapy or Face-to-Face

Our teletherapy sessions allow clients to receive quality mental health care from the comfort and convenience of their own home. We utilise a secure and easy-to-use platform to provide clients with a safe and confidential space to discuss their concerns and work towards their goals.

Face-to-face appointments are also available at the St Leonards office. 2 hour free parking on site, or access via metro and buses too.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

Recovery is not just physical — it’s emotional, mental, and practical too.

Getting the right support early can make a significant difference in how you recover and how confident you feel moving forward.
